The Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies (BHHC) is part of the Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Group and is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Over the last several years, the Homestate Companies have evolved from a Midwest regional carrier operating in Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado to a widely recognized multi-state regional carrier with operations in 18 states. Virtually all of BHHC's premiums are generated from locally owned independent retail agencies. The map below highlights our existing operations and displays the programs available in each state.

BHHC offers a diverse selection of products designed to fit between standard commercial lines and surplus markets. As a Company, we understand that to be successful we must meet the local needs of independent agents.
